YourGolf ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our website, mobile applications, and services.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including: • Account information (name, email, phone number) • Profile information (photo, biography, certifications for trainers) • Booking and lesson data • Video content uploaded for swing analysis • Payment information (processed securely through our payment provider) • Communications between trainers and students • Training logs and statistics

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve our services • Process bookings and payments • Enable communication between trainers and students • Provide video analysis and training tools • Send notifications about lessons and updates • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform • Comply with legal obligations

YourGolf uses AI-powered features to enhance your experience. All AI features are optional and activated only when you choose to use them. We use AI in the following ways: • Support Chatbot - An AI assistant that answers questions about the platform using a knowledge base. Your chat messages are processed to generate helpful responses. Conversations are stored to maintain context during your session. • Round Analysis & Feedback - AI-generated analysis of your golf round statistics, providing coaching suggestions and entertainment feedback (e.g., the "Seamus" and "Laura" characters). Only your round statistics are processed - no personal or sensitive data. • Voice Transcription - Coach voice notes are transcribed using AI speech-to-text and summarized for lesson notes. Only the audio content is processed. Important information about our AI features: • No AI feature makes automated decisions that have legal or significant effects on you • AI-generated content is clearly presented as AI-generated • Your data is not used to train AI models - it is only processed to generate responses for you • All AI features are opt-in and require your explicit action to activate • You can use the platform fully without using any AI features For more details about our AI systems, see our AI Transparency page.

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: • Stripe - Payment processing for lesson bookings and trainer payouts (PCI DSS compliant) • Supabase - Database hosting and authentication (EU region, Stockholm) • Mux - Video hosting and streaming for lesson videos and swing analysis • Anthropic (Claude) - AI language models for chatbot, round analysis, and feedback features • OpenAI - Speech-to-text transcription (Whisper) and text embeddings for knowledge base search • ElevenLabs - Text-to-speech voice generation for AI character feedback • RevenueCat - In-app purchase and subscription management • Vercel - Web application hosting • Resend - Transactional email delivery Each service processes only the minimum data necessary for its function. We have data processing agreements with all service providers.

If you subscribe to YourGolf Premium or purchase credits, the following data is processed: • Purchase transaction details (managed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat) • Subscription status and entitlements • Credit balance for premium features Payment for in-app purchases is handled entirely by Apple or Google - we do not receive or store your payment card details for these transactions.

We share your information only in the following circumstances: • Between trainers and their students for lesson purposes • With service providers who assist in our operations (see section 5) • When required by law or to protect rights and safety • With your consent for any other purposes We never sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Video content is hosted by Mux with secure streaming. Personal data and application data are stored in Supabase (EU region, Stockholm). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Lesson videos are retained according to trainer settings. AI chatbot conversations are retained for the duration of the session. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
